What Can I expect with my fully balanced recipe and home cooking guide?

Home cooking for your pet is one of the best ways to keep your pet healthy from puppy/kitten to senior. By home cooking for your pet you are offering a species appropriate way to meet your pet’s nutrient needs through every life stage. Many clients also come to me for a recipe to give a pet with a newly veterinarian diagnosed disease, when all your vet can offer is a processed prescription diet to meet your pet’s individual nutritional needs. With many of these diets, not only are they highly processed, which fuels inflammatory conditions, it is also cost prohibited. Some pet owners also report ingredient/sourcing/manufacturing concerns, distributing issues and even problems with low palatability, due to their pet refusing to eat the food.

With a quick search from the internet, I’ve found that many other pet nutrition businesses only offer clients one recipe with an individual price tag of $500 per recipe! When clients work with me, they get:

  • A fully balanced recipe plus my home cooking guide ,which offers a lot of ingredient flexibility.

  • A diet plan that will meet your pets life stage and or newly diagnosed disease/health concerns

  • Calorie recommendations (diet and treat calorie recommendations to keep the diet balanced)

  • Supplement recommendations for overall health or to balance the recipe (including links)

  • Treat recommendations (what to look for or avoid)

  • Individualized exercise recommendations

  • Sourcing information

  • Food journal

  • Transition recommendations from your old diet to the new diet

  • Home cooking options (Instapot, crock pot, stove top) with temp recommendations

  • Food processing techniques for better nutrient metabolism

  • Alterations are given/recommended for those wishing to raw feed

Home cooking is one of the most beneficial and nutrient dense dietary option for pets since recipes are individually created for each pets specific health goals that also meets your pet’s dietary needs via what is species appropriate! Home cooking also allows pet owners to diversify the diet throughout the year by focusing on a variety of seasonal ingredients. My goal for creating the home cooking diet is to help clients integrate a home cooking diet into their schedule to create better success long term. It is my hope that clients will feel comfortable and confident with the home cooking process by giving you the tools you need to feel successful.
